Jon F. Allen is a mixed media artist living and working in Philadelphia, PA. He studied drawing, video and animation at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. He sublimates his own psychic pain and anxiety into the media of painting, drawing, sculpture, video, and installation. Renowned musician David E. Williams has said of his work, “As some possibly pretentious guy once said of Ian Curtis: ‘Jon Allen knows the madness in your area!’ Sometimes the cruel shoes fit just right.”
